Dear CSF Members and Friends,

This year's Lobsterfest scheduled for Sept. 13 has been cancelled. Due to the new Town policy requiring masks indoors at all public buildings (including the Penfield pavilions) for both vaccinated and unvaccinated people, increased safety concerns about the Covid Delta variant, and the inability to seat everyone outside with appropriate social distancing, we feel this is the right and prudent decision. We're disappointed as we know you are. At this time we plan to reschedule the Lobsterfest for July 2022 when hopefully conditions will be better.

If anyone would like to meet up on Southport beach at 6 PM on the evening of the Sept. 13th, it would be fun to share some sailing and kayaking stories. Be advised this is not an official gathering of the club, just come down if you feel like it, bring your own picnic or just come and chat for a while. As you all know, the rule at Fairfield beaches is no alcohol, so please use discretion when planning your picnic. We hope to see you there.
